This is a novel project of INMECC to bring into operation of non-performing assets of stressed and sick industrial units thereby to help in resource utilization, employment generation, technological innovation, promotion of inter sectoral linkages and export promotion that will
result in increased GDP. Service industries like real estate projects, hotel projects, retail infrastructure etc. will also come under the ambit of this project.
The process will involve the following steps:
1. Identification of revivable units through detail study of the problems of the units by which the units have fallen sick or getting stressed.
2. Preparation of detailed project reports with revival schemes.
3. Match making between existing promoter of the project and interested NRI investor.
4. Entering into business terms between the parties under the guidance of INMECC.
5. Restructuring of business operations under the guidance of INMECC and subject matter experts.
6. Operations of restructured units.
