My Job My Business

The Indo Gulf and Middle East Chamber of Commerce (INMECC) successfully launched its “My JOB, My BUSINESS” campaign at the PWD Rest House, Kalamassery, on 13-06-2026, with the objective of
encouraging job seekers to become entrepreneurs and job providers.

The one-day awareness program featured expert sessions by Mr. T. S. Chandran, Former Deputy Director of the Department of Industries & Commerce, on business opportunities, procedures, licensing, and government support available for entrepreneurs. Mr. Jaison David, Industries Extension Officer, Kochi Corporation, provided insights into financial assistance, subsidies, government schemes, and bank loan opportunities. Mr. Sudeep Cherian, Academic Director, CMS College, Kottayam, led an interactive session on transforming business ideas into viable enterprises.

The program also included an engaging panel discussion featuring entrepreneurs Ms. Leela Pradeep, Molulli Industries, Carry bags, Aluva and Mr Joshi MT & Mrs Soumya, Flowers Paints, Palakkad, who shared their entrepreneurial journeys, challenges, and success stories.

As part of the initiative, INMECC will continue to mentor and support participants in transforming their business ideas and passions into sustainable enterprises. Following the successful launch of the inaugural program, INMECC has planned similar awareness sessions at various locations to promote entrepreneurship and create more job providers in society.
