Dr. K. A. Retheesh is an accomplished management professional with over 24 years of leadership experience across major Government and Semi-Government organisations in Kerala. With a strong academic foundation—including a PhD in Applied Economics, MBA, and B.Tech—he has served in top leadership positions such as Managing Director, CEO, Secretary, and Executive Director in organisations like KSCDC, INKEL, KIED, CAPEX, and the Kerala Khadi and Village Industries Board. He is recognised for his strategic expertise in business operations, new initiatives, market expansion, financial management, and policy formulation. A recipient of the ‘Best Leader’ Award from Quilon Management Association, he is known for developing brands, establishing new markets, executing strategic plans, and driving large-scale organisational growth.
Throughout his career, Dr. Retheesh has managed organisations with tens of thousands of employees, implemented major business reforms, expanded national and international markets, negotiated high-value contracts, and launched value-added products in collaboration with leading institutions. His leadership achievements include tripling the turnover of KSCDC, ensuring uninterrupted industrial relations, preparing restructuring plans for large enterprises, and establishing Kerala’s first cable TV network. He is a life member of multiple premier management bodies, a certified Accredited Management Teacher, and actively contributes to academia and industry as a visiting professor and consultant to over 150 SMEs and several large-scale industries across south India.
